Im a competent mechanic so can repair anything right down to complete strip down to nuts and bolts but dont know these machines at all, wont take me long to figure it out, have my own cnc workshop with milling machines and routers so can make aftermarket parts for the craft anytime too, do look forward to owning one

thanx again

2007 SEA-DOO SPEEDSTER 200

That's my vote. I own the 2006 180 Challenger. Good boat just a tad small. With me, brother, and his son (combined mass 660 pounds) it's little shaky on trim. Just slow to start will keep up 35 mph no problem. The bigger boat will give you more advantages in people and sitting. Or course two motors is two motors and means three times the expense. Then again one breaks you can ride home on one.

I also thought the price was high on the 2007 180 Challenger.

The 200 for me also, without reading into it. I got the 180 which I love but would prefer the extra power and security of the second engine.
Double maintenance on the Supers but you should be able to handle that no problem with your experience. Plus the overall styling and look exceeds the other two IMO.

Thanx For the replys, any ideas on what the servicing entails? ive no log book or references so far so will be a learning curve, maybe get hold of workshop manual and see what the advisories and intervals are? Ive rebuilt turbo charged motorcycle engines before so expect similar tech obviously a supercharger is direct drive so a few belts extra here and there..I am leaning towards the twin motor are there any inspection advice or tips you chaps can suggest I look for as I scan over the boats? apart from a cork plugging a hole hehe
cheers

Gosh,
I don't know where to begin. Maybe play dumb with the seller and get them to explain everything?

1) The motors use their own special CAN bus debug/diagnostic programmer. So far the cheapest alternative is http://candoopro.com/.
2) The Superchargers have a lot "history" with ceramic washers exploding and then imploding the motor. It's a slip clutch direct drive. Read up on them all over the net.
3) Read up on some of the repair projects here, that should give you an idea of scope of the stuff that needed to be done to the boats.
4) Manuals are easily bought on line

I bought a beater boat and did a lot to fix it. I had to replace the ladder, fix the lights, fix electrical issues. Ran it most of the summer and now it's broken with a bad something or an other. I got the fuel pump out and seeing if that is the cause. I maybe be forced to buy the candoopro soon to help debug my problem. There goes an other 400 bucks.
