I have 2 interior lights that are broke, one the clip is cracked and the other keeps dropping the bulb. Also have the 6 docking cleats that the chrome is all messed up and has bubbles under the chrome. It annoys me too much. LOL. Has anyone tried a aftermarket replacement that fits the holes? Lastly the rear graphics on the boat are faded and for the life of me cannot find ANYONE to make me a new set or they want wayyyy to much money. It doesn't even have to be the same design, I just want something to replace the faded blue.

I'd like to share a inexpensive mod I did on my Malibu and Chaparral. There are many offshore companies offering a waterproof LED light strip that works great on boats. Very easy to tuck up under the hidden areas like the underside of seats, storage compartments and dash panels. Comes with 3m pressure sensitive tape for mounting. It uses a small IR module & remote that will control the colors and style of display that suits your liking at any given time. The strips come in 15' lengths and can be cut to any length. Or you can cut multiple sections and reconnect them with a wire extension that you will need to solder in. Super easy! The kits come with a AC adapter that has an output of 12v, so you can either buy a DC plug or cut the end off the AC adapter and wire that directly up to a switch on the dash.

Super cool mod for under $30

The cleats and lights are just standard stuff that fit most boats...id be willing to guess there is a name on them like perko or sea sense or something like that. As far as rear decals, i had mine remade. I was lucky enough to find the port side new from an old dealer. i took it and used it as a template to make both sides. I had those made along with 2 new huge side decals and the registration numbers. For all of it was like 200 and that included the design fee. I would bet if you called them and gave them my name, they could look them up and make you the same set...just change from red to blue. I used a place in michigan called catch the edge graphics.

I tried to attach pics, but for some reason its not working today. ill try again tomorrow.

These are the exact cleats for our boats.

Be careful removing the old ones though. I got one off easily, the other bolts are frozen on and strip easily with an allen wrench. So far I only replaced the one. I tried to use PB Blaster with no luck to loosen them up. I probably will cut the other 5 old ones off. The bolts are $5 each from the dealer.

O nice, Perko is the match for the cleats, now to get the frozen screws out .

Foster, I tried to contact them last fall with the info you gave and they didn't seem interested to help me. I tried a few times and finally gave up.

Call back and ask for a girl named Tia. She was very helpful. I bet she could help ya. If not let me know and ill try to call them and see if they could just remake them and make them blue instead of red.
