My challenger started beeping continously while at idle. I assumed one of the motors was over heating. I felt the heads and exhaust on both and they were barely warm. I ran one motor at a time and they both would set off the beeping. Water is flowing fine over the swim deck like it should. Book says over heating but I dont think so. What is going on?

Got it. Something going on with low fuel. It has just under a half tank but that us the alarm sounding.

There should be an amber rocker switch, just press it and it should go off

Possibly a bad sensor, but the odds of both going bad at the same time is not very high. Verify your grounds and disconnect the sensors (together and one at a time) and see what happens. If it is beeping with them disconnected, the wires could be grounded somewhere.

Alternatively, it could be low fuel level. Flip the toggle switch (ask me how I know)

As it happens on either engine, I have to think it is something common to both. I would take a good look at the fuel system. Maybe a stuck float, bad sensor.

Adding fuel / pressing bypass button solved it. I think the fuel gauge isnt correct since it was showing almost half tank. Now on with the holiday. ...
