Help about web hosting company

Hey Guys,

I am really passionate about blogging and am contemplating of launching my own blog. I have done some research on how to go about it and realize that I would be good if I buy my own web hosting. Could someone kindly offer which is the preferred hosting provider to go with? I am really stimulated and can't hang about to see my blog online.
