Hello Everyone,
Recently bought a 2006 Sportster with the 155hp package.
I understand the pros and cons and purposely didn't want the twin or SC models.
I have only had it for a month and simply so I knew it's status, I have recently completed the wear ring install and new oil change.
I have also installed the following:
* Trolling motor with a quick disconnection
* Front casting deck with a pedestal seat mount and tackle storage (mounted to 4 additionally mounted grab handles)
* Depth finder/GPS

The plan is, I go bass fishing a daylight and the family meets me at the lake in the afternoon.
Within 5 minutes I can have the front deck and trolling motor off the boat and in the enclosed truck bed.
We tested the theory this weekend; it was hot and I was ready for some boating by the time they arrived.

Nice setup, you know I really never understood why more guys don't use these boats for fishing, with the shallow draft you would think they would be ideal. I also like your tow vehicle. Anyway welcome to the seadoo forum.

Lou

Thanks,
I agree about the fishing part.
I have a 20' bass boat that basically only seats 2 and is far from being fuel efficient (on the boat or towing vehicle).
