Hello everyone glad to be here. Great forum!! Need some help. I was changing the old scupper and I think I over tightened the screws 1996 Speedster. What can I do to fix this? Thank you very much.

No that I have an answer either,,, But did over-tightening them create an issue? And welcome to the site...

Thank you for the replies. I'm not sure I will have to test it out at the lake. Hope its ok

If going directly into the fiberglass, you can take the screws out one at a time and coat with marine epoxy then screw back in, but do not over tighten. Then let it sit overnight. The epoxy will form new screw threads.
