Can anyone tell me how many lbs to tighten the head cover bolts on a 787 challenger engine

Yes, 24 N.M or (17lbf.ft) is the torque of the head screws.

Make sure when you torque, don't go to 17 pounds all at one time. Start at 10 lbs and torque from the inside out in a criss cross pattern. Then do your final torque at 17.
