Got a Depth Finder from NorCross it is a recertified one, in hull/Transom mount. I choose to mount it inside the hull. Cost for the unit $69.99+Shipping $10.49+Tax $4.55 for a total of $85.03. Next I got one tube of Marine Epoxy from Lowes 4.99 and a hole saw set from Harbor Freight $6.41 (but only if you don't have one or can't find the one you do own, like me  ). Tested it just infront of the pump housing on my 2003 Utopia and it worked great so I epoxied it in, ran the wire up the starboard side, with the gauge also on the starboard side of the helm console. Power came from the 12 volt outlet wire in the fuse box behind the helm with a switch inbetween so when I am starting the boat it does not confuse me with its own startup alarm. Tested it today from idle to full speed and it worked just fine :hurray: . So if you are out looking for a Depth Finder it appears that NorCross makes a pretty decent product.
