Has anyone replaced the Karavan trailer that came with your boat? What did you get? Do you like it? Mine galvanized unit is shot. Not the frame, but just about everything bolted to it.

Just a thought, harbor freight and eBay has a lot of the “accessories” for trailers; including winches, winch support brace, tongue couplers, wheels / tires, and lights. Honestly $150 could go quite far if you wanted to put new “accessories” on it if the frame is good.
I fixed mine by rewelding the brackets where the leaf springs mount. Replaced all the hardware bushings as well as a new U bolt. You can get the drawings with part numbers online. Also swapped my surge tongue for a new one and redid the bunk boards. Anywhere I welded I sprayed COLD Galvalume paint with zinc from Home Depot on it.
I agree with rcookr1....
As long as the frame is good, you can buy and/or replace almost everything at a reasonable price. FYI, my dealer in MD (at the time) put my ski (a 2003 GTX 4-tec) on a Load Right trailer in 2003 and it still looks nearly perfect after almost 20 years (galvanized). The only thing I did have to replace was tires and the bunks because one of them cracked... from a knot in the wood?
