Has anyone put a stereo in a non-equipped speedster?

Has anyone put a stereo in there 1999 or similar Speedster? If so, how and where did you mount the speakers.

I installed 14 speakers , 2 amps, 1 stiffing cap, 2 optima batteries and an Alpine cd/ipod receiver with remote. Here is the link to a youtube video of my system. Also, on page 2 of this forum search for "audio system" that is my post of the install in my 2003 speedster. I think that ours are the same boat.
