Was riding my xp today it was running amazingly smooth. I filled it up with fresh premium. After riding by my self for a while i decided to give my gf a ride. After she got on it wouldnt start. I tried a few times and it just cranked and cranked. I let it sit for a bit and tried starting it and finally got it goin. We rode for a bit then lost balance and fell off. It never flipped but it was about almost straight up sideways. I tipped it to the left just to be safe then it did the same thing again just cranked and wouldnt start. so we started swimming the 100 yards back down the river with it I tried again a few mins later off the ski and it started so i jumped on and rode back why she swam she wasnt 2 comfortable hopping on. So her friend wanted to ride so we rode for a few mins then fell off in a hard turn it did the exact same thing. when i got back i let it sit for a bit then started it with out the seat. I noticed where the exhaust manifold meets the purple tuned pipe was spraying water apparently it lost a bolt and a nut and it was leaking. The book shows two water jackets that pass threw right there. If its loose and spraying out Could i possiably been spraying water from the exhaust into the motor and thats why it wouldnt start? Im gonna get the new bolt and nut and also replace the gasket . I was super happy with the way it was running well until i had to swim for it twice. .... lol It was running decent before i trailered it after i was able to restart to figure the problem out.

the gasket is number 5 and the screws are number 39 and nut number 1
