Hey need some help before it snows up here. I have a 1998 kawasaki 1100 ZXi. Just bought it this last spring from down south. Was told from previous owner to always use "starter fluid" to start, factory standard. Bull! Anyway will start cold if primed with raw gas, runs rough until warmed then ok. After shut off will not start again. Gets spark, new plugs. Plugs are very "wet" when I pulled them after shut down. I believe it is oil. Is there a check valve on the oil system? Any help would be appreciated.

well dont know much about the kawasaki skis but if they are like doo's taking them apart and cleaning them will make all the difference to how it runs. give that a try and see what happens.

Yeah, that sounds like the carbs are NOT cooperating. The wetness is the oil not burning off because you aren't really getting good combustion.

The triple Keihn carbs are subject to similar headaches we gripe about on the mid-902 Seadoos.
