GF found what appears to be a Seadoo diagnostic scanner at an estate sale. She grabbed it for me thinking I could use it for my GTX, but I can't make head nor tails out of it and it doesn't have a manual with it.

Was thinking of just selling it on ebay, but I figured I'd ask the right population about it before I unloaded it. Plus it was about time to join a forum anyway and stop just taking for gospel everything the local dealer told me every time I have some sort of maintenance/mechanical isuue. Hope I don't step on anyone's toes, but those guys seem to charge me just to walk in the front door. And even that ain't cheap!!:(

So any ideas on what this is, what it's worth to sell, or how I can use it personally. I tried to post a pic but I'm not real savvy on how it's done apparently.

Thanks.

Welcome to the seadoo forum RBL II. You will need the manual to operate the programmer. They sell used for about $500. to about $1500.00 and are hard to get. They are only available to seadoo certified repair shops. If what you have is a mpem programmer and it works it is a very useful tool to diagnose and reprogram MPEMs,( Multi Purpose Electronic Module). I have been looking for one for some time...but too rich for my blood. I'd be interested if the price is right, and it works...
Pm (private Message) me direct the details.

Hey Karl. Thanks for the heads up. If you want to shoot me your email address I'll shoot you a pic. I'm having trouble posting it here. Maybe we can figure out what it is...
