Hi
I have a 2002 GTX (not DI or RFI) that will not go above 4500rpms. It cruises smoothly at this speed (30mph) but I can't go any faster. There is very little surging, bogging. If you release the throttle from WOT it will come to an idle then die.
Would a clogged carb filter cause this low rpm? Clogged Fuel Lines? I have the 2x carbs off now and replaced all the fuel lines with black fuel injector hose. I cleaned the fuel selector too. The carb filters weren't that dirty.
Anything else I should check before putting it all back together? Fuel Pump appears to spray in only one of the carbs when i rotate the throttle... is this normal?
Thanks
Mike
