My dad took the XP out in 6-10' surf and had a GREAT time. I jumped off the jetty with my surfboard, and caught NOTHING. It was big and fairly clean, but it had NO power to be able to catch it on paddle-in surfing, plus a hefty offshore breeze to blow you back over the weak waves.
Well, I watched dad for about 2 hours having a blast on the XP, and tried to flag him down so he could sit on my board while I had a go at it, but he never saw me.
When we got home, he said "we need to do something about this...let's put some straps on one of your surfboards so I can tow you in on big days!"
So I dug around on the net and found these...

Many kite surfers recommend using your surfing board since you spend much of your time actually "surfing", so I am thinking of putting these on my old 6'-4" Rusty and using it behind the boat and for tow-in surfing.
Anyone had any experience with this product or anything like it?
