Hey gang. I'm new to troubleshooting. My Maintenance Light is on. I ordered a couple plugs, checked oil, but also looked at these 2.

I'm not exactly sure what these are, but it seems the bottom one in pic is good, while the one on top the seal looks busted. There was also black oil around that area. Can you give me advice? Is this an easy fix? I assume I need a gasket set of sort? I lost the spring as well but believe it's a compression spring #290939137.

Remove the circular spring,,,raise lip of the rubber bellow so its sits evenly on the rav like the other one,,i use a very thin screw driver to raise the lip,,they do leak cylinder gases over time,,,there is an "O" ring under the rav valve,,,it gets hard over time and the cylinder gases get by it,,it is a common cheap "O" ring you can buy at an suto parts store,,,but you do need the the OEM spring,,,

Hi. Thank you!

1) You reference removing the circular spring, then raising the rubber below so it sits evenly, then I assume I place the circular spring back on...The rubber piece itself looks deteriorated. Any chance you could tell me what that piece is called?

2) I assume the rav valve is the circular metal piece itself, is there a trick to pulling it out to replace the "O" Ring?

3) In looking at this drawing, can you confirm #20 would be the spring I dropped in ski:-(, this valve is #19 Exhaust Valve? And the Spring is #18 Hose Spring. And the "O"Ring is #14. If I'm correct, which item has the rubber which I'm raising the lip on? Wondering if I should be replacing?

Thanks again!

Okay...because it is a 951...just remove the 2 allen bolts,,,and you can remove the entire rav assembly,,,still attached to the pressure hose,,remove the thin circular spring,,,take a 10mm and remove the rav cap...the blade will now come out of the housing,,,you can clean the blade, replace the "O" ring,,the bottom of the rubber bellow will be securred by an "O" ring,,,or thin circular spring,,,it sits in a groove,,,i always rotate it to make sure it is seated.,,don't use brake type cleaner to clean the rubber bellow,,,it softens them sometimes,,,i just use a rag dipped in varsol ",,you can do all of this with the rav pressure hose attached,,,but you can remove it for convenience,

POPPS thank you! I'm gonna give it a shot!

Can you confirm I've found the right diagram? Just making sure. Valve #19 Exhaust Valve, Spring i#18 Hose Spring, "O"Ring is #14.

The o-ring you want to replace is number #10 and I would also replace #11 if it isn't soft and pliable.
