GTX flipped, filled water, starter now dead

This afternoon I flipped for the first time (15 year owner/user of various SeaDoo's) and was unable to right my 1997 GTX. I was near the dock so was able to swim it water logged to the ramp, winch it up and pump it out. Battery was dead so I charged it while I pulled the plugs, ran the engine to squirt the water out, put a few drops of SAE 30 oil in the cylinders, ran it some more (using the start position on my charger for power) while it continued to squirt mist out of the cylinders. Dried the plugs and an hour later repeated the starter action, still some mist but not much so I replaced the now dry plugs and tried starting. It kicked a few times while repeatedly trying to start it and then it went completely dead. Not even a weak battery click.

Is there a circuit breaker somewhere on the engine? Hopefully....

As well, a neighbor told me that I may have been trying to right it by flipping it the wrong way (it turned turtle when we dumped) which is why it filled with water which it is not supposed to do. Since I bought this used SeaDoo just a few weeks ago I do not have the Owners Manual. So, I need to acquire an Owners Manual for future problem solving. Meanwhile, hope you can help me with the three issues:

1) Which way should 1997 GTX be flipped once it has turned turtle?

2) Is there a circuit breaker on the engine like there is on other marine engines that will trigger if there is a reverse charge hook up or in this case maybe by shorting do to being submerged in water?

3) Where is best place to buy an Owners Manual?

Thank you for any help you can give me on any of the three items.

there is a set of fuses in the electrical box, the box maybe full of water, i think you may have overheated the starter, how long did you crank on it, its like 15sec max then stop and 15sec then let is cool for 30sec, also check the ground wire going from the battery to the engine, i would get a volt meter and read the battery voltage with it sitting, there really could be a bunch of things
next would be the starter relay(in electrical box), if you jump the 2 posts and you hear the starter click the starter relay is bad, there is a very detailed manual on this site, but as a base manual that is free: link http://www.pwctoday.com/showthread.php?t=128441

and the 97 gtx model http://www.mediafire.com/?lgjmmodmgit

you are NOT supposed to use a battery charger or car's alternator to jump a ski. battery only. you might have killed something. (probably didn't but don't tempt fate again.) always rotate the ski clockwise from the rear. think of where the exhaust is and turn it so the exhaust goes UNDER the motor while flipping back upright.
