93 GTS. This machine ran great on the trailer in the driveway this am. New plugs, idle is set perfectly and throttle is very responsive...everything appears to be in order and ready to go. Took it down to the launch and it would not start in the water on the trailer. Its getting fuel but it lost spark. Brought it back to the house and after sitting for about 20 minutes it has spark and starts up. CONFUSED!
could this be a worn coil that is just giving up under load? rectifier? is the machine possessed by an evil entity?
The fuses on the mpem are good, all connections seem to be fine inside the box.
I am hoping this is gonna be a simple fix. It just seems to be a never ending train of crap but I think Im near the end of the tunnel with this.
Thanks!!!

I’ve had coil issues, but with the cheap aftermarket ones being bad right out of the box.

If you got an oem unit, disregard.
Definitely check the resistance ohm values to service manual spec before installing. Can help catch a bad aftermarket part.
