Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows the part number of the front storage bin for a GTX 97? Mine is broken and I would like to replace it, but I need to part number.

Thanks

Part number 269000269.

I have an extra if you need one. It is fairly big, not sure what shipping would be. PM sent

the are a major pain to ship because of the bulk. I had a spare and threw it away after trying for 3 months to sell it on CL.

I must agree with you about that.

One of the reason why I'm trying to locate someone locally, in the montreal area.

Yes, but shipping is killing the deal.

40ish-50ish shipping rate depending on company.

that sounds about right.... but that's not too bad...

Here's your plan B.

Shipping is a necessary evil, it would cost $100 or more for me to send one to canada. That bin is huge!

When I get back to the office I will check to see what I can do, we bulk buy shipping through a coop.
Just left the dealer, needed 1 carb diaphram, ...........wait for it,,,,,,,,,,$48 plus 13% tax.

 All I want to do is get 1 stinken project done, I stock a ton of parts for a rec guy (its not a business for me) and I always seem to need something. I hate going to the stealership so I order my parts online and get the best deal possible 90% of the time. The odd time I go to the stealership cause it is a dealer only item.

So while I was there I remembered I needed a diaphragm, found out the price and just about fell over. The guy said, "sorry I don't make the prices" what a load of crap, their bending me over and know it. All these guys have mikuni has a supplier so what they do is get the parts from mikuni directly and charge cataloged bombardier pricing. I wanted to get these carbs done this weekend so I paid the price. Online stuff is great and reasonably priced but I get tired of waiting for stuff all the time. I have 4 skis pulled apart and cant finish any of them cause I need to wait for parts.

I am not complaining about the delivery times cause I find most companys efficient, just that fact that if I need something today I get hosed in my own country.

Same with this bin, what a rip. If I could fill up a truck with 24x24 boxes for $50 + 13% tax and drive them 5 hrs down the highway I would only have to work 1 day a week.

Don't have one for you but I don't see how shipping would be that much. I used to part out ATVs all the time and once shipped a set of tires and wheels to Canada for fairly cheap. What are you wanting to spend on one? I'll keep my eyes peeled for one.
