i'm going to assume i will have better performance now. no? i'm still charging my battery. once i get her fired up i may run up to the lake. i have a new wetsuit to try out. :)

Faded, Thanks for the pix. I tried to take some, but they were too fuzzy. I gave up, after it was over.

Mine was about 2x as bad as yours. The filter was covered in black tar.

fone rings...........

Welllllllll, I don't know if this is the BEST way, but it was fast, and worked for me:

I dumped about 1 cap (1/4 ounce maybe) full of chain saw mix down the intake, and fired it up. Then repeated it, several times, until it stayed running.

Kind of a redneck way, I know. But, it was fast, and not hard on the starter.

i had to recharge my battery; 3 times, but i got it. i filled the inline fuel filter and this seemed to help a little.

I don't think I cranked the starter more than 10 seconds total, because the fuel I primed it with allowed it to run for 10 seconds each time.

i knew there had to be an easier way. i was ready to disconnect the fuel line at the carb and suck.

Prime

The easiest way to prime the lines is take the spark plugs out and turn it over a few times. Put the plugs back in and it should fire up. If not do it again.

A better way is to use the same oil you use for the seadoo and premix a small amount (couple oz) and dump it down both spark plug holes. It will fire right up, and you won't have to worry about the wrong oil or fouling the plugs.

Seems like I read a way to prime the fuel system was to put pressure on the return line. I did and it worked out great for me.
You guys may have a different system than me.
