I found trident marine makes some great extra thick "Barrier lined" marine grade gas lines for cheap!

I found my local Trident marine hose distributor and got the A1-15 marine grade (J1524) for $1.45/ft (A1 is fire and gas resistant)

You can call my place in Newport Beach CA OR you can call trident Marine at 800-414-2628 and get the number for your local distributor and see what they'll sell it to you for without shipping. Doing this you should be able to get the good stuff for a lot less than what you'd pay for regular fuel hose at Kargen/o'riley/checkers etc ($2.12/ft for standard goodyear).

Good Luck

Looks good but it's about 3 times the cost of automobile fuel line, I guess if you live where you are subject to CG inspection it would be a good idea.

SDB, actually I did buy MMI out BUT if you call trident they will tell you where the closest distributor to you is and you can most likely get it through them.

Lou, gas lines in CA are $2.12/ft non marine grade so at $1.45/ft I thought it was a pretty good deal. .45/ft is hard to beat :)

Thanks for the heads up... but the thing is... it's not needed on a PWC. Automotive "Fuel Injection" hose is accepted during a USCGA inspection. Not to mention... it's cheap, and we know it's OK with our new crap fuel.

Obviously... if you are using the PWC for rescue, or rental... you would want to stick with USCG hose for liability.

agree with the doc..

although its a great idea, I see no real advantage, i've used gates auto line for yrs with absolutely no issues, upgrading won't help anything, just make you feel better about it...
