Greases, lubes, etc...

I'm curious if i'm required to buy the "sea-doo" brand greases and lubes (I.E. for the steering linkage, and external type of lube stuff) of do yal have any suggestions on equivilant stuff i can pick up for Advance auto/Home Depot that is just as effective.


Along with that.....I'm going to be primarily running my sea-doo in salt/brackish water. Are there any recommended sprays etc. i should coat external parts with prior to putting her in the water, to minimize the effects of salt??
