OK, looking for a GPS that is not a chart plotter or fish finder?
anything like this?

I bought the Garmin eTres 20. There is a 30 model but it costs 100 dollars more and really only tells you altitude for the extra money

The 10 series is black and white and does not have roads, waterways and this to that nature.

The 20 and 30 series have roadways and waterways. Small but efficient. I bought a "Ram" mount system. Not cheap but work fantastic. Bout a Ram mount for the bike as well. Allows me to loosen the clamp and take it on my bike or my ski.

It has worked flawless for me thus far. It is designed for water use.

I had the garmin Etrex 20 for a while too. Used it 1 time and sold it to someone on here. There are some decent phone apps out there that can do the same basic thing but much cheaper. I had a cool one that i deleted, I think it was memory map or something like that. I also use BoatUs for insruance, they have an app that i have where i can call for a water tow and they know my location using my phone.

hmm those are handhelds correct?
Looking for a larger screen, mounted GPS, maybe a Lowrance, have to look into it more...
Thanks

Used Garmin Nuvi 500/550 with Ram mounts. Waterproof, accepts marine and offroad maps and of course road maps. Real chargeable battery. Not a real chart plotter though, and screen is only 3,5". Have to find a pic later, don't know if it was sold with some other name in US.

Garmin 76CX

I bought a Garmin 76CX, they are discontinued but they do have a replacement that is similiar. I then bought a RAM mount sunction cup for it, works pretty good. I can now position it where I need it. I do not have it hooked up to the boat electrical system. I also have a Garmin Inland Lakes Card in it.

I ordered a Lowrance GPS/chartplotter. waiting for it to arrive...
