This was sent to me from SeaDooSnipe, and wanted to share it on here.

This is in South Minneapolis on I-35W and the 38th street bridge. 3 or 4 storm drains converge at this point - governmental engineering at its very best.

The drain cover weighs 875 lb. Local residents say it is like Ol' Faithful when it rains (approx every 2-3 minutes). They have since bolted the lid in place - it has broken the bolts several times since.

Funny!!!!

This was so hilarious.... I never laughed so hard.

At the beginning, you'll see a guy who is passing through when it really blows out. The funny part is when the water blast slows down, you see him get out of his truck and try to move that 800 pound lid. Then, unsuspecting, it blows it's top again. You don't see him for a minute, then as it starts to settle, it's like he gives up and makes a run for it..........

This was really intersting.... Shows you how civil engineers use their degrees they work so hard to get. I think anyone would realize you don't run 4 water hoses into one glass. Eventually, they will over power what ever your funneling to......... man, you got to watch the vid, you'll see what I mean....
