Got the boat back, had a new wear ring put in.... also found out the reason it was stuck in forward. The (hook leaver, spring and pin) were gone??? broke off some how. Total bill for everything came to $270....

Good deal!.......

Man, I guess there are a few good shops left out there!........that's not bad. Wearing ring and taking apart your control assembly to fix a broken pin...........for under $500 bucks!........

Just glad to see you back on the water. I saw your pix earlier!......

How fast will she go?

They were very sorry about this and im getting it winterized for free while i wait for it. im happy with the way they delt with the situation and made it right the best they could. the dealer is http://www.lockhartsodyssey.ca/ and they assured me that this never should of happend and its not the way they do busniess.

On Tuesday, August 19th we dropped off a 2004 Seadoo boat for service to replace a wear ring. The boat was not picked up until Saturday, August 30th as a part that was required for another repair for the reverse gate did not arrive as scheduled.

When we dropped off the boat we brought the cover with us and we were going to put it on but the employee told us not to bother, they would put it on once the service work had been completed. The boat was taken indoors immediately. When we picked the boat up on Saturday we were very disappointed to find the cover still on the bottom of the boat, soaking wet. The boat had been sitting outdoors for the whole week with at least one full day of rain. The boat was filthy and both the inside and outside were covered in dirt and mud. I have attached a few pictures of the inside that were taken after we had already started to clean the boat.

This boat is kept indoors through the non-boating season and is kept covered and on the trailer whenever not in use. I am sure your staff would have noticed when the boat was brought in, it was in pristine condition. We were upset at the several hours we were now required to spend to bring the boat back to the same clean condition it was in when it was brought in for service. We have been planning on bringing the boat to you for all winterizing and routine maintenance but are concerned with the fact that we were told the boat would be covered and we would like to think that we can pick up the boat in the same condition as when it was brought in. Several hours of boat cleaning was not what we had in mind for the weekend. When I take my car in for service it comes back washed and with paper mats on the floor which shows concern for my property.
