My cluster was cracked causing issues with water getting in and the LCD not working properly. I opened it up by using a Dremel tool around the edges to get the plastic lens off. The cluster dried out and seems to work fine now. The only issue I have is getting the remains of the lens out which is held in by some sort of epoxy or adhesive. I know heat is a possibility to see if it will soften it, but not sure what else to try. I don't think acetone will work but who knows. I have a new cluster lens from my 08 Spyder which looks like it will fit perfectly. So the only bind I have is dissolving this glue.
