Nope. It's relitivally straight forward. Just a pain to get it cut loose, and pulled out.
Basically... lift the control levers... unbolt the cable.
Oh... tie a heavy string to the old cable, so when you pull it out... you can use the string to fish the new cable in.
Then... unbolt it from the gate on the pump... unclamp the boot inside, behind the engine... and pull it out.
Replace with the new cable.
I did mine in about 20 min. Honestly... it took longer to find the tools needed, and clean up after, than to do the job.
