Ok, so I have to start off giving most of the credit to 3M and Velcro.
We are rolling 3 deep tomorrow from Virginia Beach out to Chesapeake Light for some spearfishing. So I mounted my Magellan handheld GPS that I used for mountain biking in Germany. It loaded waterways easily and I have figured out entering coordinates finally.
Some simple adhesive velcro strips to mount it directly to my glovebox lid. I figured that if Seadoo used that location it should still get good signal and ride pretty good.
The GoPro 2 HD was just as simple. Used the curved mounting plate provided in the kit and it sits very nicely. Took a few shots from the unit as well to see how the frame shot lined up to video the ride out to the Light.
