Picked up a friends 97' Challenger 1800 cheap. He bought it new and only had it out 10 or 12 times. The story goes he parked it next to his house fall of 00'. The cover blew off sometime in 03' or 04'. I got it last week. TRASHED!, but good motors and MPEM, etc. We parted it out and found this place to take it.

The claaaaw. The Claw is our master. The Claw chooses who will go and who will stay.

It appears the challenger wasn't on good terms with the claw. What a shame.

Looks like a pretty fun job though. Might get a headache if you get in the way of the claw.

Notice you're in Mich. Me too. Where was that place?

Out somewhere west of Ann Arbor. I wasn't paying attention. Reasonable, though. Like $65

Yea,LSC mostly. Although lately, Ive been spending more time up near Algonac in Muscamoot bay. Lots to do and miles of cuts and calm water. I sold that challenger last fall and picked up an 01' Sportster 951C this spring. Was going to go newer challenger but my daughter loves the old 3-across 14.5 footers

Is that your 14.5ft challenger in the pic? Lake St Clair for you? I'm on the Detroit River about 10 times per year.

As do I. Best boats ever IMO.

I've been up that way in my boat a few years ago. Put it at the Harley launch went all the way up to Port Huron and back a couple times. Gull Island once. That neck of the woods is a hike for me though and I need to rebuild my engines before I'm back up there. Plan to have that done this fall. Probably got about 500 hours on the original engines.

Isn't Muscamoot Bay shallow?

Yes, it has been very shallow. It's probably up + 3 over 2010..Last year all the boats went back into little muscamoot Bay which hasn't been accessible for 20years
