Getting only 12.6v

Hello everyone I’m Rockenrog and new to the SeaDoo form and family. I’ll get straight to the point. I have a gtx951 Di. It’s only getting 12.6 v at high Rev. Goes around 35 mph and misses out like crazy. Ba ba ba babababaaa ba ba. Lol
Things I’ve done.
1.Fuel pump OEM
2 fuel filter ( high pressure up grade)
3 rectifier twice just to make sure no change.
4 Battery

There are only a few parts of the charging system, the stator which outputs AC voltage, the regulator that changes it to DC and the battery.
IS the Battery voltage the same that is coming out of the regulator when you rev up the engine to 4,500 rpm?
 
No I only get 12.3 to 12.6 Somi bought a new regulator (Amazon) and it was the same. I tested the yellow wires on the stator. Was putting out 65 ac v @ 3500 rpm.
Your thoughts.
 
I have seen the aftermarket regulators be bad out of the box.
It would be nice to have an OEM to test with...
 
It gets confusing but there is some speculation why Seadoo did this.

Basically the engine tag says "Engine Family 947" this is probably due to the project name for the new engine or the first prototype. Then the final engine displacement is 951 cc and the engine tag does say "Displacement 951cc". Same for the Seadoo 720 is actually 717cc. So people call them two names but are the same engine 947/951, 787/800, 717/720.

It would be nice to have an OEM to test with...
So I bought another rectifier my volts wer between the 12.6 and 13.01 still has a bad miss and won’t go over twenty. But the volts did go up some. You thoughts? Maybe another bad rectifier?
 
Those are Chinese junk. I would hate to see you keep throwing money at it but one of the few quality ones are OEM or OSD Seadoo.
 
Ok everyone finally received a good rectifire, so that part is solved. Ski still runs rough with intermittent surging is what I will call it. Will only go around 20 to 30 mph HELPPPP
Things I’ve done to try and fix this ski
1. Compression test. 1&2 are at around 140 psi
2. Rectifier now good
3. Air test good at 80
4. New plugs
5. New battery
6. Fuel presure test put key in goes to 25 start ski only goes to 100. Bought a new pump from quantum fuel put it in and still 100 no Chang I know I need T minimum 107.
Still runs rough

You are going to have to figure out that fuel pressure. They are very strict at the 107psi.
 
Are you getting a maint light when it surges? If so, you may need to find someone that can pull the codes. Are you able to monitor fuel pressure while it surges?
