Getting a rope out from impellor on trailer?

For the firt time in 4 yers boating with a seadoo I sucked up my first rope today..... Anyway did not have a knife on board to cut it out, so limped back to shore on one engine, pulled the boat on the trailer and made the 2 minute trip home, anyway got fed up of being bitten by mosquitoes tonight so gonna leave it for in the morning. Anyway any tips for getting the rope out while the boat is on the trailer? its in pretty good and its a thick tube tow rope?

You can take the spark plugs out to relieve the pressure in the engine. Sometimes then, you can get lucky and it just unwinds as you pull. Otherwise, just cut it out.
