guys want to learn sanding and making the seadoo look new again. i have some minor scratches, as well as some very thin, super small scratches, I want to mess around with to see if I can either sand them or buff them out. I notice when I sand with 2000 grit to 1000 grit I notice the gelcoat surface is dull, how can I make it shine again? I guess I need to know a little bit about gel coat as well. I really want to know if it is possible to sand these super small scratches to some regular size ones. I am very fussy, and want to restore the unit to look new. Is it possible to have the surface that has these very slight scratches and small scratches disappear or am i being unrealistic? I have used rubbing compound, different grit sandpaper, but i want to become a pro at this.
