OK so I am thinking about trying some gelcoat repairs on my 95 XP and 95 GTX. The ski's are not damaged they just have the time warp cracks on the nose and other areas of the body. I would like to repair the gelcoating on the ski, however, I have never attempted it.

I recently restored the plastic with some plastic renew for ATV's. That turned out very well for a $15 investment. Figured I would give the gelcoating a try LOL.

I did check you tube briefly, however, nothing great peaked my interest. I know there is a wealth of experience here and figured this is a better place to start.

SOOOOO with that said..... Any advise on product to use and videos to watch. Both hulls are white.

gelcote intl. sells repair kits for exact models of every color. I believe though you will have to somewhat scratch out the spider-cracks and make them a little larger and rough them up a bit to get the gelcote to adhere and bond well, but im no expert so im sure someone can answer better then I

besides learning first hand from a professional, google and youtube would probably be your best bet......"is it worth attempting it"....I guess that depends on how bad it is, how much it bothers you, and how much extra time do you have?
