What is the price of a gallon of regular 87 octane petrol where you live? Here in Englewood Florida is $2.95.

Not $4.00!...

At the moment, gas is around $2.80 a gallon, but I've already seen the change of direction since Mr. Dictator Chavez has threatened to cut off all oil supplies to the U.S. if Exxon-Mobil continues to freeze billions of Venezuela dollars............
So I just filled up two, 55 gallon plastic drums. I hate rising oil prices.....takes all the fun out of boating!.....

I won't keep large amounts of gas on the premises just in case a fire breaks out with our dry conditions here in Florida...That's an instant cancellation of our insurance.

Well up here in Canada I just got gas for my truck at $1.04 a liter which 4 makes one us gallon =4.16 a gallon thats for 87 octane 91 was $1.16 a liter Well you know what thay say if you wanta play you gota pay but it's getting out of hand.:rant::rant:

Prices

Here in Ste. Genevieve Missouri the price of gas raised today 3/19/08 to 3.14 a gallon. I hate the oil companies. But were I work MFA posts futures of gas and diesel prices sents MFA is a crop/agriculture company. The price of gas is futured at 3.50 a gallon by May just for the summer. Diesel is supposed to be around 4.16-4.50 by May. Then supposed to drop for winter. Sounds like a scam hun? But what we gonna do about it we gotta pay to go to work and play.

Fuel....

Well, fuel here in Mobile, AL is at $3.21 a gallon and that's the cheap stuff. I did read in the last post where your talking about the oil companies and shares.....well, I used to blame the same thing, until I watched a interview on CNN two weeks ago and then, read it in the AP a day or so later.
President Bush had an address and asked the OPEC nations to do something to ease the price of fuel. He told them that they needed to increase the production of crude.
Well, the 13 nations got together to discuss the idea of increasing output, then those 13 countries were talking about all the surpluse they already had. And through some formuala, they came to the conclusion that the demand for oil was less than the supply and reserves already in trade. They said the problem with the issues with fuel was due to mis-managment of the U.S. economy by the Bush administration.
Let me say, this is not my opinion, this is what I read in the Associated Press and heard in interviews with CNN corrospondents.
Do I believe them? I can't answer that question since I don't want this to turn into a debate about what he's done for this country or where this country is at the moment in global foreign policy.

Houston Texas $3.14 gallon for Regular Unleaded.

Anyone notice the record profits the oil companies are posting.... tap tap tap... any correlation to consistent price increases at the pump? GRRRrrrrr:reddevil::boxing_smiley:

Be thankful your not in europe!

I pay 3.17/gal in De. but i just read an article on MSNBC about europe paying 8.17! wow, in my 40 gallon tank in the boat...320 bones plus to fill up! I guess I cant complain to much!

Prices

I do agree. This economy is mismanaged! Do you find any correlation with those big 1600 dollar checks there sending out across the nation? If no one realized were in big time recession! Today I heard a loaf of bread is supposed to be $5.00 a loaf.

Gas companies....

Even though the gas companies are posting huge profits, they also posted huge loses in the past. Just like the chemical company I work for. In the year 2000, we were paying our customers to buy our stuff. The market was flooded. Now, that the demand is sky high, we're making record profits....(just got a 2% bonus).
In the article about the U.S. economy being mis-managed, I can watch our GNP and our stockmarket, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that something in the are of "big business" is not working right........
Maybe it'll all change when I'm elected President!..........Yeah, I'm going to do a write in this Presidential election, for me!.......Ya'll don't forget, vote for Seadoosnipe!...............:hurray:

Cool, that is a great place for all the family...I just don't like the increase in the ticket prices. My brother in law used to drive the trams in the parking lot part time for like 17 years...to get reduced or free tickets...they ended it and he quit...We still enjoy all the parks it at least once a year, as it's only a 2 hr drive away.

4 people. it isn't too bad at all...Last time my family of 4 stayed in the lodge cabins for a week was $2,500 for the week with full passes. That was back in 2001.

visit...

I started a Disney World savings this past year, so that we'll be ready for summer of 2009. I've calculated that I'll have about $8000 to spend. I dont' want to go and worry about the money thing. I don't to tell my daughter she can't have that $5 can of coke, we'll buy one on the way out.....kinda thing. I want to stay for 7 days and just be really laid back and not worry about money!.........

Ozzy fuel....

Well i just filled the ski up thismorning and paid $1.48 per litre, which i think works out to be about $5.60 per gallon! That was 98 ron though....

Crazy crazy world

Ya'll hear that!

Ya'll hear that!....and we're whinning about $3.00 a gallon!.....
Your fuel required is 95 RON, in the states, it's 91 RON + MON/2. Just goes to show you how the fuel set-up is different due to the stringent emissions controls the US has on it (and everything else that has an engine).
By the way GTX-WAKE......shhhhhhhh, people on this side of the earth are trying to sleep at this time in the morning.........

Sorry...

Lol, sorry guys! I should have let you ALL SLEEP! Oh my, am i yelling again!

I know that i only need 95 Ron for the ski, but ive found that i get much much more mileage from the 98 Ron than anything else in the car, so i put that in the ski aswell.

Kinda hurts when you need to fill both the car and the ski up at the same time :(

Octane....

I thought you might get a laugh out of that. We are 14 hours behind you....
Here, in the states, our fuel quality is measured in octane. In the manual most of the Rotax engines, it gives the octane as to what it expects to burn. Most of the time, 87%. Then, I've read, that burning a higher grade can cause damage because your delivering a different heat characteristic to the engine.
Well, long story short, the 4-TEC series engines give a minimum octane.....so I it appears that the motors can burn the hot stuff too..........
Now, let me get back to sleep.........
