Gas leaking from carb! Scarry!

Have 1996 seadoo GTX. Noted gas leaking from the carbs. Took the carbs off and found that the gas was leaking through the diaphragms. Lucking I didn't get blown off the seat or worse with gas in the engine compartment! Am replacing the diaphragms. They are pretty spendy. About 30$ apiece. Loren J
