Fuses in MPEM 97 GTI

Hi all i have a 97 GTI i purchased and am going to send the MPEM to carl we are fairly sure its bad...But i notice 5 or 6 fuse slots on MPEM and only have 2 in the bottom slots...i have tried to download the 97 manuals and got them downloaded but cannot open them i get error message...ill figure out error sooner or later but was just curious.

Are there more then 2 fuses supposed to be in there or is that all they take...just want to be sure when i get MPEM back that i have all fuses in it ?...thanks ....just curious also if they only need those 2 fuses in them why the additional slots...maybe you can add xtras to the ski ?

Due urself a favor, disconnect the yellow wires from the rectifer, then plug the 5amp fuse in, tak'n that, this is the fuse that pops when power is supplied, then if it pops, disconnect the red wire from the rectifier, then install fuse again..note, don't use any thing bigger then the 5amp fuse, if fuse still pops, then yes, send the MPEM board.
It be ashame, to send out and fuse still pops. The rectifier and stator, will also cause the same fuse to pop....good luck

Just 2 questions Please...Rectifier is the 4 wires that go into the same housing as the flywheel ? ( i cannot open the manuals yet that i downloaded so cannot check myself )

and # 2. I have 4 wires going into that 2 yellow and the 1 black then 1 black w red stripe ( is this the red one you mentioned to take loose second ?...sorry to keep asking im still learning these jetski's

Ok i got it lol sorry just gonna edit and not repost...MPEM on front left side and found plug with 2 yellow and 1 red..thanks

manuals...?

When you download the manual, are you letting it load completely before you try and open? If you already have the manual downloaded, then typing in the password should open them.

I have never been asked for a password when i downloaded 95 manuals i can access them no prob i downloaded and printed them... i got download complete message when i downloaded the 97 manuals then closed that box went to where i saved file double clicked it and get error message that it cannot open..a little triangle box at bottom left of my screen when i click it it says reason for not opening is " access denied "..so im sure its gotta be something i did wrong in the process...joez sent me some info ill try that to see if it works..thanks for the response

It was all me not the site

Just wanted to let all know that it was NOT the site that had the Problem it was my OUTDATED Program hehe :redface:...And also want to say WOW..i am impressed at the Total coverage of the ski in the Manual...Guys and Gals...if you own a seadoo of any form You MUST have these manuals...do not hesitate to join and become prem. member..the manuals are so in depth you could actually disassemble your ski or boat ( if there is a boat hehe ) and reassemble with no doubts that you are doing so Correctly ( not recommending this by any means ) but did want to state how impressed i am with manuals...you guys dont Charge enough...OK OK im just kidding on that one dont start throwing rocks hehe....WTG Guys well done :cheers:
