Hi
First of all, I'm new to the forum and was hoping fore some help
I have bought a 95 speedster twin rotax last year. Ran it this summer and its a lot of fun
now for the not so fun part.
I rebuild the carburetor on one of the engines and after installing the carb again was doing winterization on that engin.
Everything ran smoothly as expected.
But afterwards I saw something under the motor that looked like oil mixed with cooling water. If it was a 4-stroke engin i wold say that water was mixed with the oil and that it was a crack in the enginblock or something similar.
However now its a old 2-stroke engin sow I have now idé what it is.
During the carburetor rebuild I took the carbs off and also (by mistake) removed the intake manifold rotary cover.
I realized after the winterizing was done that I onley tightened the top bolts on the rotaty cover.
Cold this be the reason for the fuel oil water mix under the motor?
Best regards Anders
