Fuel useage (this weekend with the GTX)!!!

Guys the wife and I had to stay close to home this weekend, due to a church function!!! Anyways, we took the GTX, & kids, plus a tube to local lake near our house, for the entire afternoon and only used 9 gallons of gas all day!!! :hurray: We used the craft to go all over the lake plus pulled the kids on the tube... If you keep the craft under 6,000rpm, it is a very fuel efficient craft, but let's also face it, if you are going to do any watercraft activities it is going to cost you some ca$h, but I'm still very happy...

Most hot dogging/spinouts with novice riders result in full throttle positions that consume HUGE amounts of gas. I could get rid of a tank of gas in my HX inside 45minutes if my body could take it. But on other occassions when we were just cruising at half throttle or so, that tank could last all day.

Probably doesn't hurt your model uses more advanced fuel management than the 2-strokes.

So when does the hybrid Seadoo come out? 2031?

with gas prices the way they are Im thouroughly enjoying my doo's, i can throw them in and run all around and have too work to burn 5 gallons.. its the cheapest boat i got, try filling this one up with premium over $950 for the day ! its gonna be doing a lot of sitting

I hear you on the price of fuel, we pay premium's "price" on the lake to fill this one up, only thing we can go a month between a fill up, 200 gallons @ $5.19/gal.!!!
