Can someone tell me how the fuel sending unit work on this boat. I see the wires going into the fuel nossel at the tank but am unsure how to disassemble with out damaging anything. Also anyone know where to buy a replacement sending unit for this online as there are no Sea Doo Boat dealerships in Houston, Texas any longer.

I found a new one ebay this past winter. It was a dealer in n carolina clearing out old inventory.

Just make sure you mark all of your lines and you should be fine. If I remember correctly they hoses have different size diameters so it should be easy to match back up.

I switched mine due to a good price and not feeling confident about shorting across the f1 fuse that was bad. There are alot of posts explaing how to fix the baffle if its a gas gauge issue.

I found a unit online. If you mark everything out you should be fine. Although I needed a buddy to help me as there isn't enough room in the engine compartment for a 6'2" 250lbs guy lol.

i did the shorting across the f1 fuse last week, have not put the boat in the water yet, should I de worried?

I see that many people have saved their baffles that way, but I am relatively new to working on this type of equipment so I just put a new one in when I found it on ebay. I did keep my broken one so I may fix it as a backup.

I also must say that my gas guage is pretty useless even after being fixed. I still find myself checking the fuel by popping the hatch to be sure.
