any way to repair the fuel sender float? Mine is intact but does not float. Its not worth the $100 or so for a new sender but open to other suggestions?
But you could see if you can locate the leak on the float itself. Drain by poking a hole in it. Evacuate anything inside. Then "plastic weld" it shut with a soldering iron (far from the gas tank). Depends of the plastic itself is not brittle.
