I have a 2000 challenger 2000 merury 240 engine. I have a fuel pressure problem. I was told the boat has more then the one fuel pump. Anyone can send me a picture of the location of the fuel pumps? I only see one. Only the one in this picture.
I went to the sea doo dealer and they don’t have a picture since it’s mercury engine.

Yes, there are 3 pumps. Follow the hoses. #1 is the cubic one that "thump thump" when it is working. It also has the 1st fuel filter screwed into it. #2 pump is forward of #1, in close to the block. Driven by crankcase pressure pulses. #3 is forward of #2 inside the curved metal tank called vapor separator tank- vst. That pump raises pressure to 36psi for the injectors.

No. It is INSIDE the vst. Boosts pressure to 36psi in combination with fuel pressure regulator.
