I premix my oil and fuel for my 96 seadoo gsx and I wanted to know what is the correct ratio when doing this? supposedly i been doing it wrong this whole time running too rich. i was doing 1 quart of oil for every 5 gallons. does anyone know the correct ratio?
16 ounces of oil to 5 gallons of gas would be 40:1 that is what I use. walmart sales a cheap clear plastic measuring tool in their boating department it works well with all ratios. robin

I agree with ROBIN. You are using twice as much oil as needed for 40:1 ratio.
It should be 1 qt oil to 10 gal of fuel not 5gal fuel. (3.2 ounces of oil = 1 gal gas)
