Fuel gauge

Hi everyone, new here! , I have a 2003 Seadoo Islandia, the fuel gauge is not working, and bombardier does not make them anymore, seadoowarehouse.com , has a fuel gauge for a 2008 seadoo islandia, was wondering if anyone knows if that would work on a 2003 Islandia.

Most of them are a float issue. BRP has an updated float and it is cheap.

What is the specific issue with yours?

I had it checked out by a mechanic and he tested the float , and he said there's nothing wrong with the float, then he checked the fuel gauge and he said that the gauge went bad.
