fuel gauge not showing up

on my 2000 seadoo gtx any help on this ?filled up with fuel then noticed no fuel reading. checked for loose wires or blown fuses. please help

You probably got a prob w/ your fuel baffle that is in the tank. Sometimes it's the gauge but usually it's the baffle. You can pull it out and check to see if the magnets on it didn't fall into the tank or if they are dirty they will not send a reading from the float. Mine did the same thing but the circuit board was fried in the baffle. Bought a used one on ebay and it did the trick.:cheers:
 
You need to get rid of the gray fuel lines ... they deteriorate from the inside out and clog your carbs.

Not impossible, but not easy.

Have to remove oil tank. Try either pushing the fuel tank forward or remove the steering assembly to pull it out the top.
