Fuel Gauge Needle

Is there an easy way to paint the fuel gauge needle? I am asking as I have a 94 GTS with a white needle on a white background gauge so it is a PITA in the sun to see how low the fuel level is with sunglasses on at a quick glance.

There is no way to open the sealed guage and paint it and re-seal the guage. If you open the guage chances are it might not work again.

Fuel Gauge? Whats that?

(I'm an 'ole 2 stroke motorcycler, and all we ever had was reserve!)

And the one on the one I have needs fixed.

So, I'm back to using the reserve!
