Fuel Consumption??

I have a 155 horsepower 3 seater seadoo and it takes the same amount of fuel as my Honda Civic?? Is this normal?? I can drive my jet ski all afternoon on 10 litres of fuel.

Uh I have a 200 speedster and it holds 47 gallons of fuel...My Dodge Charger with a HEMI holds 19 gallons of fuel... I think my Charger is faster by about 100 mph. Most water craft have large fuel tanks to keep you on the water for a while between fill ups.

Drink Gas

In My Service Book My Xp Can Only Run Wide Open For 55min On 9 Gal Tank And 8 Min On Res They Drink Gas

You guys get some good gas milage. I use a full tank (60L) for about every 2-3 hours I put on the metre. I guess the supercharger eats gas!!

you can put a fuel flow meter and try to find a sweep spot where the fuel/fun kinda meets in between and it doesnt eat too much so you can try to conserve some fuel. lots of new guys on boats put these in to find whats the most efficient speed to cruise on.

I have one built into my brain...I just go all out, all I can, till I need more fuel... I didn't buy a speedster to putt around.

^^

the only time im not WOT is when im in a no wake zone

The RFI engines definitely do well on fuel, that's for sure... compared other Sea-Doos anyway! I get about twice the fuel mileage with the '99 GTX RFIs than I do with an '05 215 horse RXP. :)
