Front storage cover shock problem

I've gone through two new front storage cover shocks,and neither are strong enough to hold up the lid
Anybody else with this problem on their late model sportster/speedsters?

This just in;
Those shocks are ajustable:hurray: Just pull out the top pin and turn the body counterclockwise one or two turns,and presto! the lid stays up:cheers:
PS I wish the seadoo service guy knew that before I spent $50 and 100km trip to get it

I have the same problem, thanks for the tip.... wish i knew that befor it fell on my hand and messed up my ipod...

That is good to know, I have had my '08 speedster for a week and I thought I broke the shock.
