So I posted a while ago about my pumps having a bunch of chunks missing from the vanes right before the venturi nozzle. The boat is a 1998 Sportster 1800 with twin 720s. The OEM pumps are 140mm plastic ones. So called a local shop, he set me up with 2 brass pumps (for $275 total!!), with new bearings in them, I just need to swap my impeller shaft, impeller, and cone, then put fresh oil in and fresh wear rings. So simple. Total time was about 3 hours, and that was including cleaning everything up as well.

Here is the old pump, you can see broken parts ok, biggest chunk was about the size of a golf ball.

New wear rings installed from SBT.

Impellers are in. Nice and tight clearance with the SBT rings, much better than the OEM seadoo ones in my opinion.
