What's up guys..Thought i would finally say hi after creeping on this forum for over 2 years lol..Anyways I own a holy grail of 90's seadoo's which is the 98 SPX which i got from the holy grail 2 stroke 90's seadoo god Matt Braley! Haha.. I bought it from him completely stock. it sat all winter long until just about 2 months ago when i really tore into it. I have a speed shop which makes my addiction for speed even worse so of course the ski got modded pretty good.. I first removed all the unnecessary stuff i didn't need or was going to replace which was graphics, handlebars, VTS, stock ride plates, nozzle, big xp mirror hood, oil injection tank, stock air box, sponsons, mats. Then of course i had to find some bad stuff which was the rear piston ate up pretty bad by a lean condition. So tore the motor down and installed new piston, rings and gaskets, finished it off with a westcoast head and 41cc domes i think. compression was right at 170 so still good for pump gas. After that it was a bunch of aftermarket stuff for the hull..ill name specific parts later..here are some pics.

Welcome to the forum.
if you removed the oil injection system you should really leave the tank with some oil in it as it lubes an important part.....unless you went with a loop system.

you will burn more oil with mixing but it's your call.

Thanks guys. Yea I did the loop setup with a tee and cap so I can add oil if needed, if it ever got low.

In what part of Florida are you located?

***EDIT**** never mind I see it in this threads title line.

NorthWest of Dustin...my neighbor in Michigan has a condo there
