I am having trouble removing the fly wheel to open the bottom end of the motor. My main goal is to get to the Rotary Valve to replace parts as needed due to timing problems. Anywho, I put a harmonic balancer puller on and started tightening down. The manual states "The fly wheel should come free easily," but is not. I have put all the muscle into it that I feel comfortable without breaking something. Can someone please tell me if I'm doing something wrong?

I used the exhaust bolts, and threaded them into the flywheel. Then using a steering wheel puller, grabbed the boltheads, and tightened down on crankshaft, took some torque, turned the crap out of hit,...she'll pop. Dont lose the woodruff key though, if you do, can get them at ACE....is the place....unless your brass gear is f-upt, then tearing apart sounds unneeded, just pop intak manifold/RV manifold off, and reset it...
